Pickup and initial assessment

Loaded up and headed for the shop...

Master cylinder was dry...front drum brakes were locked up

The knockoff's were also stuck.  Penetrating oil should do the trick...

Gas tank: fuel is caramel colored w/lots of corrosion


Gotta love an original 327/340hp '63 motor!

Got the front driver side rolling, but passenger side is still frozen.

Sprayed some penetrating oil between the drum and the shoes.  Letting that soak in...

Alternator was likely replaced at some point.  It's a 37 amp part #: 1100834.  Should be a 1100628 37 amp.


Expansion tank has a "76M" date code (Dec. 1976)


Nice replacement Harrison radiator (dated August, 1971)


Engine oil was AMAZINGLY clean!
